BROOKLYN COVID-19 TESTING
COVID-19 Testing is now available at Statcare in Brooklyn. We offer reliable diagnostic and nasal swab tests, quick test results, and a full touchless registration process that keeps you and our staff safe. No long waiting time outside in the cold or standing in crowded rooms like you often would in NYC health hospitals and health centers. We cater to eligible New Yorkers, communities of color, other boroughs, including Staten Island, and have various testing locations and vaccination sites in New York City.
In the State of New York, especially Brooklyn, everyone should assume they have already been exposed to Coronavirus or have come to close contact with confirmed cases who are carriers without symptoms. One should also be extra careful and vigilant because a lot of people have been taking public transport and have possibly come in contact with contaminated surfaces.
Statcare health care providers believe that only with testing, isolation, and 14 days quarantine, to those who got positive COVID-19 test results, can one control this pandemic.
If you have a family member at home or living in a nursing home that you regularly visit, who has lung disease, is older than 60 years, or has a high-risk immunocompromised state, you may want to get a nasal swab at a COVID walk-in testing near me to ensure that they are safe around you.
You can search for nearby testing centers via zip code or city. Or you can come and get tested for COVID-19 at Statcare Brooklyn today!
COVID-19 Test Now Available at Brooklyn Urgent Care
We are doing COVID-19 testing as per Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and New York State Department of Health guidelines. But not everyone needs to be tested for the virus. Once you arrive at the clinic, our health care provider will help determine if you need the test.
We highly recommend that you don’t walk-in to our facilities. We have a safer process for testing and consultations. This helps in limiting the exposure of our health workers, in keeping everyone safe, and avoiding congestion in our office that would risk other staff members and patients. Due to the current situation, to protect our staff and patients and control testing capacity, we are shifting our registration process online to prioritize public health.
In order to do this, we will require a few things prior to your visit:
(It is recommended that you read the whole process before beginning)
- Please check-in online and select the next available appointment. We are often booked solid. We will call text or call you if there are cancellations and a slot opens up.
- Confirm you have made an appointment by clicking ‘Online Check-In’ on our website or following the link sent to you. (Please remember to select the correct location and reason for visit)
Note: If you are a physician, FDNY, or EMT and are sick, upload your ID as well. Then send us a message on our chat box and we will try to accommodate you.
- Once you have made the appointment, click on the yellow ‘PATIENT FORMS’ to sign our consent forms and to give us demographic information. Please attach both sides of your Picture ID and Insurance Card (if you have one) to this link. Your appointment is only final once these documents are completed and we have verified your insurance.
- Once we receive the forms via DocuSign, our staff will text you with a confirmation of the appointment and instructions. If our staff requires further information, we will contact you by text message or phone.
We appreciate your understanding during these times.
