Statcare Urgent Care in Astoria is located nearby in the heart of Astoria, Queens, NY – just one block west of Steinway Street and one block south of Ditmars Blvd. It was the second medical center location for Statcare which has health clinics in all Burroughs except Staten Island. You will be seen by Board Certified medical professionals trained in emergency medicine. Whether you have a cough or a cold, a cut or a wound, a broken nose or a broken bone, mental health issues like depression or an anxiety attack, or need medicines refilled or a sliding scale for diabetes monitoring explained, our healthcare professionals are here to help you get through. Coming to Statcare Urgent Care Astoria is very convenient as there is ample, free street parking!
If you are coming by MTA bus to Statcare Urgent Care in Astoria, Queens:
- Take the 69 bus or 101 bus. We are 1 block southwest of the intersection of Steinway Street and Ditmars Boulevard.
- Alternatively, you can take the 19 bus or M60 and get off at Steinway Street and walk 3 blocks north, make a left on 23rd Avenue heading west, and we are 1 block away.
If you are coming by subway from NYC to Statcare in Astoria, Queens:
- Astoria location is also easy to access from Manhattan (NYC) or Queens via the subway – it is merely 4 blocks (a five-minute walk) from Ditmars Boulevard – the last stop on N and W trains.
- If you prefer to drive from Queens or Manhattan (NYC) we are a mere 0.2 miles north of Grand Central Parkway and about half a mile from the BQE.

Registration closes 15 minutes before closing time at all locations.

Statcare is in-network as a designated urgent care facility with many major insurance plans. Statcare accepts most insurances (HIP, GHI, Emblem Health, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Oxford, United Health Care Vytra, Cigna, 1199, MagnaCare, etc.). Statcare walk-in clinic accepts almost all major insurance except Medicaid, HealthPlus, Fidelis Medicaid (Statcare accepts Fidelis Exchange Plan).
No Insurance? No Problem!
Statcare accepts cash as well as all major credit and debit card payments from self-pay patients.
No Referral or Authorization Necessary!
You do not need a referral from your primary care physician to be seen at Statcare.
You do not need prior authorization from your insurance company either. They have certified us.

Please remember that as with any health plan, you may have deductibles and co-payments for which you would be responsible no matter where you went (Statcare Urgent Care or an emergency room) or who you saw (primary care physician or a specialist).
Your co-pay at Statcare is still always going to be less than that of an emergency room. If you visit our urgent care walk-in clinic and have a high deductible plan and/or your deductible has not yet been met, we will collect a $150 payment. If your deductible is higher than $150, you will receive a bill from our office for the difference.
