If you are a woman suffering from a urinary tract infection (UTI) or vaginitis, these can be diagnosed with in-office tests and treated at any time on a walk-in basis, 7 days a week. You do not need to make an appointment for these issues.
Although Statcare does not replace your gynecologist, it also provides an almost same-day women’s health service for all women who cannot be accommodated by their gynecologist’s office on an urgent basis.
If you are a woman who does not have a gynecologist yet or your appointment with your GYN is not timely and you need to be seen sooner, then you have come to the right place. Statcare will be able to help you if you need refills on medicines or you need a pelvic exam done.
At Statcare, we treat all women’s health issues such as vaginal infections, UTIs, birth control, problems with menstruation, breast health, and menopausal health. For women who would prefer to see a female provider to discuss their health and wellness issues, this service is available several days a week on a walk-in basis.
Since women’s health and wellness services require more time than our regular urgent care visit, we recommend that you call ahead of time and schedule it. In most cases, we will try and accommodate you the same day or within a couple of days, depending on the schedule and your needs.
Women needing an annual breast health exam and pelvic exam including yearly Pap test (screening for cervical cancer) can get it done at Statcare. A GC/chlamydia STD screening such as HPV testing can also be accomplished at the same visit.
All women will have an opportunity to discuss their health and wellness issues. Mammograms to screen for breast cancer can be ordered for women needing it. Statcare’s medical providers can assist in the evaluation of your bone density and order screening tests for osteoporosis as well.
We are open 365 days a year, including weekends and all holidays!
Statcare serves the Long Island residents of Nassau County, Suffolk County, Queens, and Brooklyn, as well as the Bronx in NYC. If you have any questions about any conditions we treat or services we offer, call (855) 9 FOR DOC today.
