Statcare is an Urgent Care walk in facility in Hicksville, Long Island.

You do not need an appointment. Just walk in and get seen!

Statcare is open all 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Statcare is staffed by experienced Emergency Room Providers.

We treat both adults and children of all ages.

Statcare is in-network as an urgent care with all major plans

(HIP, GHI, Emblem Health, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue

Shield, Oxford, United etc.)

There is on-site digital X-Ray machine.

At Statcare, we treat women's health issues such as Vaginal Infections, UTI's, Birth Control, problems with Menstruation, Breast Health and Menopausal Health.  For women that would prefer to see a female provider to discuss their health and wellness issues, this service is available on Monday and Friday mornings on a walk-in basis. 

On other days of the week, women's health and wellness services are by appointment only and you have to call ahead of time to schedule it.  In most cases, we will try and accommodate you the same day or within a couple of days depending on the schedule and your needs.

Women needing a breast and pelvic exam as well as a pap test (screening for cervical cancer) can get it done at Statcare.  A GC/Chlamydia STD screening for women is provided as well.  All women will have an opportunity to discuss their health and wellness issues.  Mammograms to screen for breast cancer can be ordered for women needing it. Tests to measure bone density and screen for osteoporosis will be ordered and followed up as well. 

Although Statcare does not replace your Gynecologist, it does provide an almost same day service for all those Long Island women (Nassau and Suffolk) who cannot be accommodated in their Gynecologist offices on an urgent basis. If you are a woman who does not have a Gynecologist yet or the appointment with Gyn is not timely and you need to be seen sooner, then you have come to the right place. We will be able to help you. 
If you are a woman suffering from a Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) or Vaginitis, these can be diagnosed with in-office tests and treated at any time on a walk-in basis, 7 days a week.  You do not need to make an appointment for these issues.

Glossary:

Women's Health: Issues related to a woman's wellness and medical problems.

Pap Test: Also called Papanicolaou test (Pap smear, cervical smear, or smear test). It is used to screen for cervical cancers.

Mammogram: A radiologic test used to screen for Breast Cancer.

Vaginal Infections: Any infection or inflammation of the vagina from candida, bacteria or trichomonas.

Fibroids: Benign uterine tumor.

UTI's: Infection of the urinary tract including urethritis, cystitis (bladder infection) and pyelonephritis (kidney infection)
